 Summary: The Executive Catering Coordinator at TIAA, plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional culinary and hospitality experiences within a C-suite environment. This position is responsible for coordinating and overseeing high profile catering services and upscale events, ensuring every detail is executed with precision and highest level of service.  This person will manage the full event lifecycle-- from planning and post-event breakdown, while maintaining an elevated level of professionalism and attention to detail. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of executive hospitality, anticipates client needs and thrives in a fast paced environment where excellence and discretion are paramount.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Coordinates and oversees upscale catering events from start to finish.
  • Involved in catering events operations, including logistics, quality improvement, sanitation, and all facility-related activities.  
  • Ensures a polished, seamless, and highly personalized experience for C-suite executives, clients and distinguished guests.
  • Trains catering associates in service techniques, menu presentation, and customer service.
  • Oversees catering staff and service execution during events.
  • Ensure meal periods of events are set up on time and to predetermined standards for all TIAA floors.
  • Communicates on various levels to include management, client, customer and associate levels; maintains excellent client relationships.
  • Assists in the responsibility for all foodservice-related activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 2 years of food service experience including 1 year at the management level.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
  • Catering experience is required.
  • Some knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Financial, budgetary, accounting and computational skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • ServSafe Certification.
